237.130 Week 4 TASK 3B -Free Writing Exercise

The chapter starts by talking about how we detect climate change – how do you detect something on a planetary scale? He also talks about the lasting effects of climate change – he uses a visual representation map that shows the amount of carbon emissions produced by each country vs the effects they will suffer. The correlation is opposite, with countries that produce the least suffer the most. He also presents examples of artists drawing attention to the issue, such as Sam Baloji, who does collages about the effects of colonization on the Congo’s energy sector.
